Rising Above the Waters:
Perennial Flooding in Ndokwa Communities

The Challenge:
The Niger Delta, a region known for its lush landscapes and cultural diversity, also faces the harsh reality of annual floods during the rainy season. These floods disrupt lives, damage property, displace families, and challenge the socio-economic fabric of the affected communities. The Ndokwa people, integral to this region, have been dealing with the repercussions of flooding year after year.
 

Our Response:
The Ndokwa Association recognized the urgent need to address this recurring crisis. With hearts filled with empathy and a strong determination to make a difference, we embarked on a mission to alleviate the suffering caused by the floods. Through the collaborative efforts of our members, donors, and partners, we raised funds to provide much-needed relief materials to the affected Ndokwa communities.

By providing relief materials such as food, clean water, clothing, bedding, and hygiene essentials, we aim to bring relief, comfort, and hope to those who have endured the hardships of flooding.
